More About
Helen runs Unfurling (unfurling.uk), a practice offering nature-based facilitation, workshops and forest bathing sessions for individuals, teams and organisations. She also co-leads the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Sheffield chapter.
Helen's background includes seven years as director of Art and Global Health Center Africa (ArtGlo) in Malawi, an NGO using participatory arts to spark social change on issues including gender, sexual health and human rights. She has also worked with indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon, on humanitarian innovation at Start Network, and managed refugee resettlement and community development programmes in the UK.
Approach and methods
Nature connection and forest bathing sit at the heart of Helen's approach. She weaves these into facilitated sessions alongside appreciative inquiry, design thinking and participatory and creative approaches, adapting the mix to whatever the team or challenge needs.
